Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026

1. The short version

This website introduces a data privacy consulting practice. Its content is general information, not legal advice, and reading it does not make you a client. Consulting engagements are governed by their own written agreements, not by these terms. Use the site fairly, and do not rely on it as a substitute for advice on your specific situation.

2. Who we are

This website is operated by Abhishek Bansiwal(referred to as “we”, “us”, or “the practice”). You can reach us at abhishek.adv@yahoo.com. By using this website you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

3. Information, not legal advice

Everything published on this website, including the pages describing regulations, the insights content, and the readiness check, is general information and compliance commentary. It is not legal advice, it is not tailored to your circumstances, and it may not reflect the most recent changes in the law of any jurisdiction. For legal advice, consult a qualified lawyer or solicitor admitted in the relevant jurisdiction.

The services we provide are compliance consulting services. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer of legal representation.

4. No client relationship through this website

Submitting an enquiry form, booking a call, subscribing to the newsletter, or exchanging emails with us does not create a consulting engagement or any professional relationship. An engagement exists only when both parties have signed a written agreement covering scope, fees, and terms. Until then, please do not send us confidential or commercially sensitive information.

5. The readiness check

The free readiness check is an indicative self-assessment. Eight questions can highlight likely gaps; they cannot certify compliance, measure legal risk, or replace a proper assessment of your processing. Your answers are processed entirely in your browser and are not transmitted to us or anyone else, which also means we cannot see, verify, or act on them. Any decisions you take based on the result are your own.

6. Using this website

You agree not to:

  • use the site or its forms to send spam, malware, or unlawful content;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure;
  • scrape or republish substantial parts of the site's content without permission;
  • use the site in a way that could disable, overburden, or impair it.

7. Intellectual property

The content of this website, including its text, graphics, artwork, and page design, belongs to Abhishek Bansiwal unless stated otherwise. You may read, link to, and quote brief excerpts of the content with attribution. You may not reproduce whole pages or substantial portions, or use the content commercially, without written permission. Regulation names and third-party trademarks mentioned on the site belong to their respective owners.

8. Third-party services and links

The site links to and integrates third-party services: Substack (newsletter and notes), Cal.com (call scheduling), Web3Forms (form delivery), LinkedIn, and the websites of regulators and standards bodies. Those services have their own terms and privacy notices, and we are not responsible for their content or practices. A link from this site is not an endorsement.

9. No warranties

The website is provided “as is”. We work to keep its content accurate and current, but we make no warranty that it is complete, error free, or up to date, and we may change, suspend, or remove any part of the site at any time without notice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Liability arising from a consulting engagement is dealt with in the written agreement for that engagement, not in these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of this website.

13. Related documents

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Notice, our Cookie Policy, and our Consent Notice.
